- These terms explain our relationship with you when you use our website and engage our web design and development services. By accessing our site or working with us, you agree to these terms.
- As a web agency, we provide website design, development, hosting, and digital marketing services. We commit to delivering these services with reasonable skill and care, according to the specifications agreed upon in our proposal or contract.
- Each project begins with an agreement outlining scope, timeline, and costs. Changes to the agreed scope may affect the timeline and cost. We'll communicate openly throughout the process and require your timely feedback to complete your project successfully.
- You agree to provide necessary content, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner. Delays in providing these may impact project deadlines. You're responsible for ensuring any content you provide doesn't infringe on third-party rights.
- We typically require a deposit before beginning work, with remaining payments at agreed milestones. All invoices are due within the timeframe specified in your contract. We reserve the right to pause work on projects with outstanding payments.
- Upon full payment, you own the finished website we create for you. However, we retain ownership of our development tools, components, and methods used to create your website.
- The Martlet Studio name, logo, website design, and proprietary development tools belong to us. You may not use these without our written permission.
- We reserve the right to display and link to your completed project as part of our portfolio and to write about it in our marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- If we host your website, we'll make reasonable efforts to ensure uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance packages are subject to separate agreements outlining included services and response times.
- To the extent permitted by law, Martlet Studio will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific services in question.
- We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the new terms.
- These terms are governed by UK law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
